Suva Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

We went with Tropic Tours. Our guide was Steve. We were the only ones on the tour today so we can’t thank Tropic Tours and Steve enough for taking us. We had an amazing day and Steve was extremely knowledgeable.

Simon is friendly, knowledgeable and loves what he provides for his lucky clients. He is most empathetic to the environment and indigenous culture. That quality is wonderful, considering the service he provides and the local history. We had a fantastic time and the small group theory is great. Thanks for a great day. Peter and Anne

We had a great tour with Kay Sevices. Our guide, Joel, was knowledgeable and shared lots of information and funny stories. He worked with us to create a trip to that matched our expectations.

Our guide Sam picked us up at the port, planned our tour with us sensibly and thus were able to make the most of our time on Fiji. He was also very prudent and patient. Thanks to Sam we had a wonderful day on Fiji and were able to enjoy our time.

The Express coach service with Pacific was quite the experience and an excellent service. The coach was relatively new with comfy leather seats and Aircon and, at 4 hours, the $18 fare was a significant saving on the $220 going rate for a taxi that takes just as long. Being seated higher up in a coach meant we could see a lot more of the island too.

This was such an easy process. They had your name on sign and were very friendly and polite. Great experience.

My wife and I went on a custom private tour with Peter, the owner of the business. Peter was extremely courteous and highly knowledgeable about Fiji, its culture, politics, and anthropological aspects. The tour around Suva was very customised as I was unable to walk long distances (so we chose not to go on to the waterfall and nature walk). Peter showed a great understanding of people, and how he runs his business and handles staff. He would be a great asset in a business school teaching leadership, innovation and entrepreneurship. His car was very well maintained Mazda CX5 and was air conditioned. We throughly enjoyed our time with Peter.

We thought it was just a normal tour until we met the tour guide and the adventure started from there! Very friendly and professional at the same time, he brought us to the small village and we had a real trip to the past... the cannibal history, turtle, touching snakes, the 100 years temple...these was definitely!! Thanks to Kay Service for your attention to details and for making our trip to Fiji a "Do it again trip"

I had an amazing time on this tour! It was one of the highlights of my trip. Simon and Steven were fantastic guides—friendly, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. They shared so many interesting stories about the rainforest, wildlife, local history, and Aboriginal culture, which made the whole day much more meaningful.Mossman Gorge was definitely my favorite part. I honestly don’t think it would have been nearly as enjoyable without their guidance. They pointed out things I would have completely missed and explained the rainforest in such an engaging way. It felt like experiencing the place rather than just visiting it.Everything was well organized, the pace was relaxed, and the scenery was absolutely beautiful. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Cairns. Thank you, Simon and Steven, for making it such a memorable day!

From pickup to dropoff our family of 7 had a wonderful day on this tour. We saw many crocodiles in the Daintree river, swam in the majestic Mossman Gorge and drove through the buzzing Port Douglas., Simon explained the unique vegetation in an interesting and engaging way. We enjoyed learning about the indigenous story of the areas we visited and Simon’s love of the area shone through. The day was at a comfortable pace and, being a small tour Simon was able to adjust times at different places so we could experience the day to its fullest. We travelled with 2 young children and Simon catered the information to them and they really enjoyed their day. Definitely recommend this tour. A & A

John was an excellent driver and guide, he showed me all around Suva and nearby villages - it was a great experience that I would recommend to anyone.

John and Ester were amazing. John was extremely knowledgeable about the Fijian Culture and took us to quite a few places we would never normally have seen. We requested to visit an orphanage and they located one and arranged for us to visit. This tour was one of the best days we have had in Suva because coming by cruise ship we are very restricted by time so seeing the “real” Suva is difficult. Thanks guys for a great day!!!

Driver was waiting for us - we actually cleared out of customs early so it was good that he was earlier than the time we had booked. Driver was friendly and very accommodating, clean car and great air condition. Would definitely book again Thank you!
