St Moritz Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

Spent a beautiful day in Switzerland. St. Moritz was charming, while the views of the Alps were breathtaking. Our tour guide Hajo was excellent. She did a great job keeping a large group on time, and also sharing tons of knowledge of the areas we visited. It's a long day, but very much worth it, imo. Here's a tip. Being a charger for your phone. The cafe that is the meeting spot in St. Moritz, and the red train both have outlets to charge your phone. It's a long day, so you will probably need it.

A must do. The whole day was amazing! The guide was friendly and knowledgeable. The scenery was truly beathtaking.

The entire experience start to finish with one of the best tours I have ever taken. Our guide was most helpful, friendly and fun! The beauty of northern Italy and Switzerland absolutely space for itself. Natural ones leaves you in awe. I highly recommend this!

Had a great experience with John Webster of Echo Rails. John was knowledgeable, informative and good company over a full day of e-bike touring that included an alpine cheese making demonstration and tasting along with amazing scenery and touring in the Engadin Valley. It was well paced and manageable and John was attentive to our abilities and interests. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to experience the region more close up than what is possible by train or car.

It was very fun. Murilo was a great and knowledgeable guide. We had so much fun. Would definitely go on the same tour again just to talk to Murilo!

Seems rather silly to give the tour one star when it was the area you didn’t like. You didn’t mention the tour at all. And seriously, St. Moritz was too fancy and luxe for you? That’s fine, but it’s like complaining Las Vegas has too much gambling. It’s kind of the one thing they are known for.

No personal guide. You just need to hop on the train. Also you can take an train any time back. It's a wonderful trip over the Alps.

An Exceptional Family Ski Experience in St. Moritz ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We took the red train from Tirano to Chur after spending the day there, very recommended escpeacially the cafeterias which are lovely plus the food is delicious.

This tour offered a nice overview of the center of St. Moritz. We learned the history of the town and saw significant buildings and architecture. Our guide is from St. Moritz and offered great information about how things used to be and how they’ve changed over the years. She took us on a nice nature walk down to the lake where she discussed the difference events that take place during the winter season.

Had a great time. Our tour guide and bus driver were wonderful and the bus was very comfortable and clean. The sites on the train were amazing! Beautiful waterfalls, mountains, and even glaciers. Overall fantastic experience. Would highly recommend this tour.

The tour was well organized and timed. The coach was reserved exclusively for the group and the Hajo pointed out every view that comes up along the way. We enjoyed it very much

the commentary explains so much along the way and plenty of free time in St Moritz to explore. The scenery was spectatular

It’s value for money - in one day tour you see some iconic buildings in Milan, see country side of Italy, cross over to Switzerland and spend time in st Moritz in addition to amazing viewing of alps and Swiss villages.
