Phuket Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

We had an amazing day exploring the Phi Phi Islands. Everything was well organized from hotel (Selina Serenity) pickup to the speedboatboat trip, and the crew were friendly and helpful throughout the day. The scenery was incredible, especially Pileh Lagoon, and we had plenty of opportunities to swim, snorkel and take photos. The water was beautiful and the lunch was good too. It’s a full day trip that is definitely worth it if you’re visiting Phuket.

We booked a private boat tour with 5 Star Marine for the four of us, and it completely exceeded all our expectations! ​From start to finish, everything was organized to perfection. The taxi transfer was seamless and right on time. Onboard, the crew took such good care of us — they were incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout the entire day. ​Even though we traveled during the rainy season, we were blessed with a glorious, warm, and sunny day on the water. This tour was worth every penny! It covers so many incredible stops in a single day—taking in the breathtaking views from the 3-beaches viewpoint, visiting the famous temple, seeing Patong Beach, and marveling at the iconic Big Buddha. The stop at the cashew nut factory was such a fun and tasty local bonus! Our guide Woody was fantastic, super knowledgeable, and made sure everything ran smoothly. A must-do itinerary if you want to see all the top island highlights!

From pick up to drop off was professional and on time.The weather wasn't the best being the monsoon season but we made it work.The sea was a bit bumpy but it was fun and Omar and the other guys were very helpful and fun. The captain that steered the speed boat definitely needs a medal. Will definitely recommend this tour.

The best cookery class I have very been to! From the moment we were collected it was fantastic! We did the food tour, tried some fresh fruit and veg. When we arrived at the school we were provided tea and coffee. The whole service was so enjoyable and the best value for money. The ladies giving the class were so helpful and knowledgeable!! Would recommend to anyone! Must thing to do in Phuket, especially with VJ Cookery Class!!

Excellent, well explained with a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The food was delicious, I had no idea I could cook so well! The staff were amazing, very helpful and didn't make you feel uncomfortable in the slightest. The market tour was also very interesting and informative.

I had a wonderful time visiting James Bond Island and Phang Nga Bay! From the pick-up at my hotel to the pre-tour orientation, the actual tour, and the drop-off, everything was smooth and well organised.The guides were friendly, helpful, and very nice throughout the entire experience. The pickup in Phuket went smoothly. Once at the harbor, you could have breakfast. Then we headed onto the speedboat. You could watch a great sunrise. Stops were made at various islands and snorkeling spots. At one of them, I was able to see blacktip reef sharks and a large sea turtle. I can highly recommend this tour. Another plus point is the limitation of the number of participants. The boat is not overcrowded, and that makes the excursion even more pleasant. It is important to mention that if you are prone to seasickness, you should definitely take tablets as a precaution. During our excursion, the sea was quite rough at times, and several people felt sick. Otherwise, you should not miss this tour. The crew also takes great care of all participants. A crew member came into the water with us at the snorkeling spot. Thanks for the great experience!

Wow, this was definitely an experience to remember! Momo and her team were absolutely amazing and made the whole tour extra special. Everything was extremely well organised from start to finish. The fresh fruit along the way was delicious, and the lunch at the end was honestly 10/10! The boat journey is definitely not for the faint-hearted, but it certainly added to the excitement and made the experience even more memorable!I honestly cannot recommend this tour enough — it was such an incredible experience and one we won’t forget!

Was the best trip!!! We started the trip early so was able to get to the spots when no one was around. The staff were super thoughtful and accomodating, even making us a cake to celebrate our anniversary!! Would recommend this and can’t wait to come back

Strongly reccomend to take this private tour and not the overcrowded boats. The team is super friendly, adjusts the tour to your interests amd overall its a great experience!
