The old train cars were charming and take notice of the light fixtures in the cars. There was a nice narration of what we were seeing and riding through the redwoods was truly a great experience. We would highly recommend.

Just a fun afternoon trip. Rode the train out of the fog of Fort Bragg into the sunshine of the pudding Creek Station. Had refreshments, played Jenga and listened to all of the railroad songs of the delightful conductor Malachi (thanks for taking my requests. Will do it again.

A very fine nostalgic train ride. Scenery was interesting. Good historic commentary during the ride. Good food at the end stop. Our conductor is a fine musician playing the guitar and singing. Overall a wonderful ride.

Fun experience and learned a good deal about significant logging of redwoods outside of Ft Bragg 100 years ago. Fortunately the trees are growing back, making this trip visually interesting. The electric motor means anyone can do it. Be sure to combine with a free visit to the model railroad museum, where we learned so much more about the use of trains in logging.

The skunk train was super fun. I definitely would do this again.

Easy planning and booking. Causal trip . Train was clean and comfortable. Although I prefer more of a historical experience , the entertainment aspect was welcomed. Would be great if they maybe could recreate some of the buildings of Crowley to heighten the experience or maybe even a site map. Then again maybe no records exist. Will explore the Fort Bragg route on a later date. Snacks and limited alcohol available on train. Perfect time to enjoy your beer or wine and snack is when they switch the tender at Crowley picnic tables and fire pits are available. Not sure when the fire pits are lit though.

Absolutely loved the rail bikes! Such a unique and fun experience, and definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Fort Bragg. The scenery was beautiful, and it was such a cool way to experience the area. We had an amazing time and would absolutely do it again! Highly recommend!

The guides were super nice. Lunch is provided (meat, vegetarian, or vegan options available). Learned so much about the redwood forests and how amazing nature is. Highly recommend for all couples. There is an electric assist if you don’t want to paddle.

We had a lovely train ride both going and coming from The Skunk Train station. I had no idea how beautiful Glen Blair junction was. Well equipped with fun games , clean rest rooms and a very Cool Bar where we tried Skunk Beer. Excellent🍺

We very much enjoyed our trip on the Skunk Train. It was a beautiful day and we spent much of our time standing in the open car. The singing conductor was a nice bonus. We got the VIP tickets and the lunch was actually delicious! (Although a cookie would have been a nice addition. 😊). We would highly recommend this experience!

My friend and I were on a girls getaway. Such a fun experience and beautiful trip into the Redwoods. Great music & drinks and fun games.

I booked the Skunk Train’s Redwood-Presidential Car to celebrate my son’s 21st birthday, and it was absolutely superb! From the moment we stepped on board, we were transported back in time. The car was spotlessly clean, and the vintage decor paired with the music created the perfect, nostalgic atmosphere. What truly took the experience to the next level was our two amazing personal attendants. They welcomed us so warmly, served up delicious charcuterie boards, and mixed up some really fantastic cocktails to toast the birthday boy! We also loved having our own private platform at the front of the train on the way to Glen Blair Junction. We spent quite a bit of time out there enjoying the view of the winding rail tracks, the massive redwood trees, and the peaceful creek. We were keeping our eyes peeled for some local wildlife, but even without any sightings, the scenery was serene. Once we arrived at Glen Blair, there was so much to do. The area is packed with beautiful trail hikes, outdoor games, a restaurant, and clean restrooms. We had a blast exploring! Seeing my husband and son so incredibly happy made my heart full. It was the perfect family trip and worth every penny. Highly recommend!
