Manaus Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

If you are planning to visit the town of Presidente Figueiredo and the waterfalls, I highly recommend this company. We were picked up right from our hotel, and the organization was top-notch. It was a great tour of Manaus. Rodolpho, our guide, was knowledgeable and communicated very well. Really nice way to see Manaus and actually understand the city and its history connected to the locations. Rodolpho was also a very safe driver and his car was very clean. He was also very kind enough to arrange separately to drop us off at the airport at midnight, as we had many bags and couldn’t arrange a big taxi through the hotel. Many thanks, Rodolpho!!

Great one day trip from Manaus. You an see three different waterfalls in two national parks. You can swim in one as well, even in the dry season. Make sure you bring both good shoes for walking and some wet shoes. You will be treking through the jungle so need sturdy comfortable shoes but also will be going through the water so some wet shoes are necessary.

It was an incredible experience, we took great advantage of the experience. It was worth it! I highly recommend!

It was an immersion in the jungle with right to monkeys , piranha fishing and boots ! Leonardo , Paulo , Daniel , Francisco excellent !

Our guide was excellent. He really knew his history, and he gave us a nice tour of the city. Unfortunately, the Palacio Rio Negro and the city museum were closed, so we just sat outside and were told their history. However, the Teatro, the markets, and the park were very interesting.

The tour leads through highlights of Amazonian flora (and sometimes even fauna). Our tour guide was very friendly and spoke perfect English. Unlike many other offers in the region, this tour did not include unethical offers (feeding wild animals,...). We really liked it!

Going to Manaus, Presidente Figueiredo is a must stop, and making this tour along with Amazon Amazing Tours was excellent at all points. Punctuality, cordiality and a lot of professionalism, Diego's support and guide Miguel are very good. A waterfall bath in the midst of the Amazon forest, the scenic beauty of the sandstone caves and caves and the direct contact with the lush nature. Thank you for everything, and until the next one. Noted the next destinations I want to go.

Amazing experience from start to finish! Even as a solo traveler, I made so many great memories. Francisco was an excellent guide and translator. Highly recommend!

All wonderful, from the Leonardo with which I closed my package, the drivers, the guides. Everyone worked together so that my husband and I had amazing experiences. Returning to Manaus, I want to be taken care of by Leonardo and this wonderful team.

The walk is great. I only recommend that people of advanced age or some physical limitation do not make the trail to the Jewish cave. The trail is steep and heavy. But for those who have no limitations is an excellent experience.

This Tour was one of my favorite Activities while in Brazil. However, they state that lunch is included... Ok, During lunch we were asked what kind of juice that we wanted. Lunch was over, I stepped away and came back. When I did, the guide says, in front of the host and other Tourists, " you didn't pay for your juice". As if I were trying to steal or something. It was embarrassing, no one stated that the drinks were not included w/ lunch, before or during Lunch. At all. I took out my money quickly to pay and another Tourist said don't worry, I'll pay for yours. When you stepped away, they oddly said the same thing to us. It was a real sour point to a great day. Just tell people beforehand. The Tour itself was great.
