Dublin Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

My friend and I got a three day pass on the bus tour and we used it frequently during that time to tour and jump off at stops where we wanted to stop for our interested locations. We enjoyed the commentary of the drivers and their presentation of local interests.

Our tour guide Shay from PaddyWagon tours was just the best You could tell he had a passion for explaining the Irish history and cultural stories related to all the stops on our trip It was a long day but Shay had a longer day than us and never complained we about it. He wanted us all to enjoy the day and all the stops We loved all the stops but the Blarney castle was the best. Such a beautiful place to stop and I wish we would have had more time there

Jimmy was a lovely tour guide - very knowledgeable and personable! My parents came to visit me in Dublin from Boston, USA and my dad can’t walk very long distances. This was a great alternative to get to show him the city while not being too strenuous of a trip. Would recommend for anyone in the same situation!

Looking around the Storehouse was very educational, going into detail about every thing. Enjoyed the taste testing and the views from the top floor. Great experience.

We really enjoyed this tour. Our driver was excellent and doubled as pur tour guide. He was hilarious! Also very informative and knowledgeable. We covered a great deal.of ground south of Dublin. We went to the Rock of Cashel castle which was amazing, the city of Cork and then Blarney Castle. The queue to kiss the Blarney Stone was a bit long for us but the grounds of the castle are beautiful and work a good wander around. Our driver/guide really looked after us well and this was a very enjoyable day.

Dan was an entertaining and knowledgeable guide. We loved our tour and his recommendations for music and dinner.

Worth the visit. The 7th floor has wonderful views. Get your picture on the foam, amazing.

This was a fun excursion to experience on my 55th and the tour guides made it even better with their great sense of humor!

An interesting and enjoyable way to spend a couple of hours or more exploring Irish emigrants, how, why and when they left Ireland and what influences they had on the world.Told through video and interactive displays, it is a thoroughly engaging experience, wandering from room to room to learn about a different aspect of Irish emigration.For a bit of fun you are given a passport to stamp in each room.I'd recommend this museum and the building it is located in which is beautiful.It's right by the Luas (tram) stop on the red line.

Dave was exceptional guide - coming from a corporate background has found his true niche in life - he is historian , politico , social commentator and arts reviewer. His consummate professionalism, his ebullient personality combined with a dash of devilish humour made the perfect potboiler .

Amazing experience!! Everyone was lovely, views were great, it was our tour guide’s third day and she was excellent. The causeway is stunning, just make sure you actually get to the bus on time!

We had a fantastic experience with our guide, Lee. He is an accomplished storyteller and also very knowledgeable about Dublin. It was very good value for the cost. Highly recommend this tour!

I highly recommend the tour. Our driver Gerry was very entertaining & informative! We had just enough time at each stop yo walk around & sample the wonderful seafood restaurants!
