Úbeda-Baeza historical tour with Water Synagogue1976_AngelMartin, Sep 2026
Amazing no so well known cities
Our experience was incredible. Both cities are amazing, pure Spanish renascence in its biggest expression. With 2,5h per city you can only have a preliminary scratch of the surface of the whole history of these cities, you exit the visit with a ton of questions.
Value for the money absolutely worth.
Both of the guides (Baeza - Alejandro and Ubeda - Laura) were incredible story tellers, so you could feel the atmosphere of the heritage of the city at its best.
Groups of 8-10 people, so quite easy to handle.

If you are in the region that is labeled the olive oil capital of the world, you should definitely take this trip with you.
Our guide Monica clearly enjoys her work. Very enthusiastically she knew how to explain everything patiently in English. She sensed the group well with a dose of humour here and there. The tasting at the end was also very nice. Of course I bought a bottle of olive oil.....

All about olive oil
A very beautiful place, enhanced by the exhibition of old production methods. The audio guide in French was interesting. The tasting with a friendly person who provided explanations and answered our questions was also very enjoyable. In short, we recommend this visit!

Surprising.
The visit to Úbeda with Andrea was impressive, and we were amazed and delighted by the water synagogue. And Baeza was wonderful; the guide made the visit very enjoyable and revealed a marvelous space to us. Thanks to both guides for showing us these wonders and for doing it with so much care.

An amazing two days in Úbeda and Baéza with equally amazing Guides!
We couldn't have been happier with the treatment we received from this small but professional travel agency. I wanted a tour in English because my husband does not speak Spanish and so I reached out to them months before our planned trip. I immediately received a response from Begoña with times and prices for 2 separate tours - one in Úbeda (with Pablo) and the second in Báeza (with Irene). The price was very reasonable for ~ a two hour tour of each town. She told me we could pay for both at the office on the day of our first tour. She even changed the normal hour of one of the days to a bit earlier based on our travel schedule and followed up with me to confirm a week before our arrival. I was not surprised to discover that these two World Heritage towns were worth seeing. But it went far beyond that. Both guides were amazing: historians, natives to the cities and enthusiastic about their towns and their work. They were intelligent, friendly, and each of them possessed a broad knowledge of history. They were able to answer all of our questions with patience. They were never rushed and seemed to enjoy sharing their knowledge with us as much as we enjoyed learning so much and in such detail. In the end, our tours lasted much longer than the 2 hours allotted and became an interchange not only of information about Úbeda and Báeza but about language, present and past history as well as the past and present culture and politics of Spain and the world. If I lived in Spain, I would take this tour again just to spend more time with these lovely, knowledgeable guides. Thank you Pablo and Irene and Begoña for being one of the highlights of our trip. A well organized, very entertaining and instructive visit. Caesar, the guide, is a great connoisseur of the cultural richness of Baeza, and it is very entertaining to hear him. Highly recommended. Thank you so much!

GUIDED TOUR OF BAEZA
Today we did the guided tour of Baeza with Marisa. Excellent guide, who brings together an absolute mastery of history and art, and pride of belonging, teaching to value territory, heritage and those who have worked in its defense.
And a lovely gracejo when it comes to explaining the past and commenting on the present. It was a great experience.
Finally, we had a tasting of Baezano oil. Didactic and interesting, the oil very rich.
Thank you very much to Semer’s partner – I regret not knowing his name – who has initiated us.

Highly recommended!!
Baeza is a city with places full of history, a guided tour allows you to discover them and get to know the city much better. Our guide, Caesar, perfectly combined anecdotes and touches of humor with historical data. We had no luck with the weather, it rained at times and it was cold, but entering several monuments and walking around we spent the two and a half hours of the visit frankly well.

Very good experience
In Úbeda we were lucky to have as a tourist guide to Rocio. We loved it, I explain everything very well.
In Baeza we were also lucky, we were guided by Caesar, who made us a very pleasant visit. Fully recommended.
