Aarhus Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

This was an immersive experience reviewing the history of Aarhus/Denmark, the history of religion in the country and a great review of the local artworks.

We had an excellent tour. Our guide was very knowlegable. Saw Latin Quarter, town hall, cathedrals. Would highly recommend.

This was such a great experience. If you can, do this on your first day in town. It gives you a good layout of this city. I learned so much about Denmark. History, culture, art and the artists. It truly was one of the best city tours I have done.

I suggest you book this tour early in your visit to Aarhus. Great introduction into this beautiful city. Marina is passionate about Aarhus - not only its art and architecture but the cultural and historical uniqueness of the people. Marina delivered on everything the tour description promised. A must do tour while in Aarhus.

This was perfect for us. The guided tour was easy to follow and it was easy to break for a coffee or a wine every now and then along the way.

Roberto was an excellent guide! We had some initial problems with the tour company because the tour was supposed to start at the Cruise Terminal and they kept telling us to go to a cathedral. We were able to connect with Robert and he walked to our group's location.You could tell Robert is very proud of his city and he had an outstanding depth of knowledge of its history. There were 8 in our group with some having slight mobility issues and Roberto kept a comfortable pace for all. Highly recommend Roberto and this tour!

It turned out our family was the only one booked for the tour so we had a very tailored experience. Our guide was knowledgeable and humorous and answered our many questions. We had already visited some sights so moved on quickly to others. It was good to learn about the local history and the relatively recent changes to the city. Would recommend a walking tour to get a sense of Aarhus.

We had a fairly short port call from a cruise so we used this brief tour to orient on the city. Or guide Kate was terrific and tailored the tour to us as we progressed and made sure we were able to maximize our time in the city after our brief tour ended. Kate took us to places we would not have known to go to get amazing views and pictures as well as help orient on the city and how to get around easily. I would highly recommend this brief tour to help you maximize your time with the guidance of a local resident.

Beautiful city! Our tour guide, Giulia, was wonderful. We learned a lot and thoroughly enjoyed the comprehensive visit to Aarhus.

Try different beers while going around town Stories for both were plenty. Altogether a very pleasant evening.

We did a private tour with Marina,it was very good and appreciate all the information she gave us.It was very interesting and we enjoyed her not rushing us . The old town have very nice and beautifully preserved houses .

This tour was a very good start to a day in Aarhus, it allowed us to see the highlights and have time on our own. Guide was a local who was personable and knowledgeable. He provided a good insight in the history and places to see.

An extremely well put together tour. The description of the waypoints to head for was precise and easy to understand. As we approached the next point of interest the commentary started automatically.
