Overview
The land here at Zion Ponderosa Ranch Resort has been family owned and operated for nearly 60 years. For years horses, cows, chickens, and the entire barnyard have called this place home and lived the ranch life. On our trail rides you get to experience a piece of our history, and a piece of that life.

Our guide, Mormon , was excellent. He was very helpful, as we had never been riding before. As we were on the trail he informed us on the area, plants, trees and animals. The snow melting from the trees made it look like a magical forest. Very enjoyable.

Our 8 & 12 year old had a great time. It was perfect for new riders. The staff are always great at Pinderosa

Had a great ride with my girlfriend today on some of the Horses, we had Yeller, and Buddy. Quite an amazing ride and especially easy considering neither of if have ridden horses in over 20 years. Swannie, and Faye, our guides were very helpful and communicative throughout the ride. 10/10 would recommend, will return in the future as well.

We did a 2 hour horseback ride with Fay and she was great!! The horses were super sweet and had silly personalities, they followed along the trail and it was very easy. I've never ridden a horse until today. The views were beautiful. 100% worth it!

The wrangler was good, she was friendly with everyone and gave a good tour. The horse was good and knew where it was going, it didn't take any real knowledge of horses or riding skill, just sit and stay on. The views during the ride weren't that great I saw better taking an adventure at the south end of the park.

Abby was a good guide and the horses knew the trails and where to go but did not have the best scenery in the area and you did not have to have any riding experience to ride. Was not the ride as advertised.

We did this as well as the sunset Jeep tour and zip line. This is a huge waste of money! The Jeep tour ride, when it is actually moving, was maybe 15-20 minutes total. You then sit at the top of the hill with a decent view of the sunset. Also, the zip line is incredibly cheesy. We were not feeling well and asked the day before if we could be refunded two of the three horseback rides we purchased. We were told “no” as the manager said he could have sold the rides earlier in the day. Had we not felt the tour was so misleading and quite frankly, a rip off, we would have considered powering through the horseback ride the next day. This company is very commercialized. Again, do not waste your money.
