Overview
Hey, I'm Daniel. For over 10 years I shot for Italian high fashion, Fendi and Dolce & Gabbana among them. But what I wanted to photograph was spontaneity, real people. That's what I do now, and it makes me happy.
I photograph couples, families, solo travelers and the moments that deserve to be remembered. As soon as you book I'll write to you: I like knowing who's coming and what you'd love to take home from this trip, and I build the experience around that.
We meet outside your hotel, or wherever you prefer. We'll see the most iconic Venice and then the quiet one, where the lives of those of us who live here move slowly. Don't worry about posing: I'll give you simple directions, and after ten minutes it starts to feel natural.

Ninety minutes, around 45 edited photos. Three hours, around 100, with room for a Venetian costume, a gondola, or simply slowing down.
You get your edited photos in five working days, for print and for your phone.

What To Expect
We usually start at the iconic Rialto Bridge, with the Grand Canal behind you and the boats going by. I know where to shoot so it looks free of tourists.
Then we leave the crowds and head into the quieter neighborhoods: Cannaregio, Dorsoduro or the calli around the Arsenale. This is my favorite part. Narrow canals, laundry hanging overhead, small squares where children play and time seems to stop. This is the Venice where we locals really live. I'll show you hidden corners the tourist routes never reach.
We reach the San Marco area, the most iconic part of the city, at the best hour. The square, the Bridge of Sighs, the Giardini Reali, all in the best light of the day. When the city turns gold at sunset I'll take you to a few spots very few people know, so you get photographs in the most iconic places in Venice with no tourists behind you.
With the three hour option we go deeper into the authentic Venice. There's time to slow down, for a gondola ride, and I usually like to stop and offer you a spritz or a gelato, because the best moments happen when nobody is thinking about the camera.
