Overview

What makes our tours most unique is that no two are the same! Our naturalist guides craft itineraries that reflect the best of what the Park has to offer that day.

Join our TripAdvisor Hall of Fame guides as we dive deep into Olympic National Park’s highlights on this all-inclusive day trip. The park is a UNESCO World-Heritage Site remarkable for its ecological diversity and expansive wilderness. Visit Hurricane Ridge to watch deer graze in the meadows or feel the snow crunch beneath your feet on a winter snowshoe. Continue west to glacially-carved Lake Crescent, where you’ll explore the fern-filled forests that line its shores, trekking through giant trees to Marymere Falls. We'll tailor the day to your small group!

Our all-inclusive small-group day trip is limited to just 10 travelers. We'll bring a local, organic, family-style lunch and we'll eat outside when it's nice! We’ll bring snacks, water, and sparkling water for the day. Don’t worry about a thing.

The mountain was beautiful! We were lucky to get a bunch of snow and snowshoeing was a lot of fun. The forest was also very refreshing.

I took this tour solo and it was the best day of my visit to Seattle! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and explained historical facts as we drove to the national park. He also brought a very good lunch that we enjoyed overlooking the lake. It was a great experience and I would recommend it to anyone, especially if you are traveling alone.

This was a great tour from start to finish. Our tour guide, Marty, was knowledgable, friendly and down to earth. He knew just where to take us for some great photo ops and fun facts about the area. It was a bit of a long day, but it's a bit of a drive from Seattle to the park, which is what it is.

When looking at tours in the Seattle, the first thing you notice is that there is a wide price range between tours. Evergreen is at the high end of the Price Range -- so the question is -- is it worth it?The answer is a resounding yes!!!First of all, this tour is smaller than most -- the van holds 10 or 11 guests. This mean that you get to know the others on the tour. It also means there is flexibility -- more on this below. Our trip started with a hotel pick-up. The pick up was on-time and we were on our way. Our Guide Lindsey made the effort to learn everyone's names.First stop, the Ferry -- beautiful views of the city of Seattle, And ... Breakfast. Freshly brewed coffee and pastry. On our drive to the Park -- Lindsey told us that Hurricane Ridge (a highlight of the tour) was fogged in, and we might not make it there today. (Basically, he wasn't going to take us on an hour long drive if there was nothing to see). However, with this company, there is not a fixed-itinerary. Lindsey was able to rearrange the schedule. So, our first stop was Fort Hayden where we got views of the Bay, and Canada.Next off to Lake Crescent for lunch -- not a skimpy box lunch, but we were served roast chicken, quinoa salad, curried tofu and a macaroni salad. The setting was wonderful. Unfortunately -- the fog hadn't lifted, so Hurricane Ridge was looking unlikely.Instead, we would do a nature walk/hike to a waterfall, but then, the weather cleared, so Lindsey said we could do a shorter walk, and make it to the ridge. Wa all agreed to do that. Finally, weather clearing, we made it up to Hurricane Ridge (georgous).Overall, what I loved about this tour, is that it was truly all inclusive (the van had extra winter coats and gloves, in case the weather turned cold!!!). The guide was knowledgable, and the company didn't cut corners.Truly a 5* experience.

My husband and I were traveling with my sister and her husband, and decided to book a day trip to Olympic National Park. We did not have a lot of time in Seattle, and wanted to get a taste of ONP. This tour did not disappoint! Karen was our guide for the day, and did her utmost to find out what we wanted out of the tour (photograpy, nature, history), as well as drive and narrate. Both the breakfast and lunch were delicious, and the scenery was incredibly beautiful. Karen was happy to answer all of our questions., and pointed out things along the way. We were even fortunate enough to see a mama bear with her three cubs while hiking at Hurricane Ridge! The vans have a very high profile, and in addition to requiring masks when inside the van, Karen kept the air circulating and the windows cracked for those of us concerned about covid. It was a wonderful way to spend the day, and a great way to see a bit of a beautiful National Park. Thank you, Karen!

The best part of the tour was our guide who was enthusiastic, knowledgeable and interesting. We were lucky with the weather so were able to do a beautiful hike to a waterfall, see a salmon leaping up the rapids and take in the gorgeous views from Hurricane Ridge. The van was comfortable, the food provided was delicious and I would highly recommend this trip to anyone visiting Seattle!

Beautiful sights all day with the highlights being Hurricane Ridge, Madison Falls where we had lunch, Crescent Lake and the forest walk at the lake. Lindsey, our guide was outstanding and full of information from the start of the trip right up to the end. Amazing energy, impressive knowledge! The trip was well organized, provided a great and healthy lunch, plenty of snacks and drinks and a very comfortable ride. Excellent experience.

The Olympic National Park from Seattle trip was great! Justin picked us up right on time, was very informed and passionate about sharing information and facts about the park and the area. He provided a delicious lunch on plates with real dinnerware and not plastic. He was very environmentally friendly which is appreciated. He guided us every step of the way. He knew every beautiful spot in the park within the time period we had and overall a wonderful experience!

This was a great trip, and Justin had good energy/information. It covers a lot of ground, so you don't get a lot of time in each location, but it gives a great overview of the Park, stunning views up at Hurricane Ridge, a waterfall, picturesque lake, mossy old growth trees, easy walks, nice views of the City from the Ferry, good food to keep you going, and a smooth ride. Thanks Justin!
