Overview
Explore San Francisco - the City by the Bay with its rolling hills and never ending water views- with Unlimited Biking on a beautiful bike ride along the city's stunning waterfront, across the Golden Gate Bridge, towards the quaint coastal community of Sausalito.
Tours depart daily at 10am from 757 Beach Street and last for three hours. To ensure a personalized guest experience, each tour will be held in a small-group format of no more than 15 guests.
After departing from Ghirardelli Square at the western end of Fisherman's wharf, guests will bike through the green hillside of Fort Mason, the Marina District, through Crissy Fields, up to and across the Golden Gate Bridge, and then down the Marin Headlands into Sausalito.
There, guests can either stay to explore Sausalito on their own, or take the ferry back to San Francisco.
Guests on this small-group bike tour will be fitted with high quality Cannondale bikes.

Did this tour on March 15th with Josh. Josh stopped at all the major stops and was full of information! Highly recommend. If using the City Pass, upgrade to the ebike though, there are 2 rather steep hills. Also, the tour stops in Sausalito and you have the option of taking the ferry back (14US - or 7,50 with a clipper card) or biking back.

My boyfriend and I participated in the bike tour on December 24th, everything was perfect!!! Tailiman welcomed us super nicely, provided us with all the info. We started 15 minutes early with the guide JP, a super knowledgeable, nice guy who conveyed us so much passion. Recommended!!!

The bike shop made it easy for us to upgrade our bikes to an electric one. Highly recommended given the steep hills in some spots of the tour. The tour guide, Brian, was very accommodating and informative. We felt very much at ease with him . He has an excellent engaging demeanor . Ask for Brian!

My husband and I are both senior citizens and we very much enjoyed the bike tour. Our guide, John, was one of the best guides I’ve ever had. It was a gorgeous day in both San Fran and Sausalito. We rode to Sausalito and took the ferry back to Pier 41. My advice to others Is to get in line for the 4:30 ferry no later than 3:00 as the line was so long we missed that ferry and had to take the next one. It seems everyone wanted the 4:30 return ferry.

This tour was the highlight of our trip! Our guide John was friendly and so knowledgeable about EVERYTHING! My husband and I rented the regular bikes and enjoyed the almost 10 mile ride immensely. The pace was adapted as needed. Just for reference, we are early 60s and just ride bikes for fun- so don’t hesitate if you are worried about it being too rigorous, I actually walked up the two hills that were too hard for me. We then enjoyed a nice pizza lunch at Venice cafe in Sausalito, followed by ice cream at Lappert’s, and a Ferry ride back to San Francisco.

Had a three hour ride in San Francisco with our excellent guide Jean-Pierre. It was a great tour with a lot of interesting informations. We can recommend the tour, it was great to became a first impression of the city. It was a small group of 7 and we had our kids (11yo and 14yo) with us. Enjoyed it very much.

I rode an ebike with Judy as my guide. It was a cold and foggy day in December but still was fun. We rode across the bridge and took the ferry back. Judy was helpful with riders of different skills. She gave helpful tips at the end of the tour as well. She clearly enjoys her jobs which made this a memorable experience for me.

We did the Gold Gate Bridge Tour with Unlimited Biking in Aug 2021. It was a great experience overall. We had 2 adults and 2 teenagers. All had a great time. Steve was a great tour guide and provided lots of interesting information along the way. It was a pretty easy pace. A little hilly at some points, but manageable. The ride across the bridge was memorable and would highly recommend it. One in our group does not like heights, but Steve was very reassuring and we had no problems. The tour ends in Sausalito. You are then on your own to get back on the ferry. There was plenty of time for a relaxing lunch and walk around Sausalito before catching the ferry back to Fisherman's Wharf. The company was well organized and very clear on directions for getting back. They also let you keep the bikes for the rest of the day, if you like. There are tons of bike rental places in the area, but I'd highly recommend Unlimited!

I signed up for the Golden Gate Bike tour and had Robert as my tour guide. Robert showed us all the great spots along our route and helped take plenty of photos. At one point during the tour, I was switching gears incorrectly and my bike chain came off. Robert was quick to fix it up and we continued the tour with no problems. It was a fun experience and has me looking forward to my next bike ride in the city!
