It is an awesome tour! I and my son enjoyed the River Walk. The Battle For Texas Show was great! And the bus tour covered most interesting places in San Antonio downtown and provided an easy entertaining transportation between places.
I would do that again and highly recommend it to my friends now!
This was a great experience. The kids loved sitting on top and seeing San Antonio from that vantage point.
This was a very nice option as we upgraded to a 2nd day and got the third day also. There were 18 stops which got us close to everything we wanted to see. Because of it being the off season, the wait for the bus was about 15-20 minutes. Every one was friendly and helpful. Great barbeque at Augies.
This is a great way to see San Antonio. We stayed on for the complete loop. Not all stops will interest everyone. The Battle for Texas was very well done and if you take the time to read the displays, the story of this town and the Alamo and Texas is explained very well. Make sure you watch the film at the Alamo for the complete story of what happened here. The Alamo is free. The riverwalk is the 1 highlight by far and should not be missed at night. Stay at Hotels on the riverwalk. The Dury Plaza is terrific!
Great tour and learned a lot about San Antonio. The fight for the Alamo was interesting and informative way to get a better understanding of what had taken place.
the convenience of the hop on, hop off tour was good. How ever, when ordering on line and getting your voucher, you have to make sure you go the "tours" office and get your tickets for any other attractions you signed up for also. There are 3 San Antonio tour offices with in a 1 block area. Be sure to read the address on your voucher. I made the mistake of not reading the address on the voucher. There are other costs involved with most of the stops. Tower of America, Museum of Art, etc. The cost of the tour is basically the transportation to all stops. Which is a great deal. If you were to take a cab it cost much more. The tour guides also give you some history of the city and stops along the way.
It was very informative about the downtown San Antonio area and it was fun riding on top of the double decker bus.
