Day 1: Salt Lake City -- Idaho Falls - Rexburg
Stop At: Temple Square, 50 W North Temple, Salt Lake City, Utah 84150 United States
Temple Square is often seen as the heart of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (LDS), also known as the Mormons. Back in the late 1840s when LDS pioneers first reached Utah, they decided to build a temple that would be the center of their religious society. From there, the church grew outwards across Utah, then throughout the United States, and then throughout the world. Temple Square is still the headquarters for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints to this day, containing other historic buildings such as the Tabernacle, the Beehive House, and the Conference Center. You'll love observing the beautiful architecture of these buildings while learning about the history of these early pioneers.

Modeled after the US Capitol Building in Washington DC, the Utah State Capitol Building is stunning. This brilliant piece of architecture is the center of government for all of Utah, containing the chambers for the Utah State Legislature, the chamber for the Utah Supreme Court, and the office for the Utah Governor. In addition to its important role as the seat of government for all of Utah, the Capitol Building also holds incredible pieces of artwork depicting the history of the state.

Located near Salt Lake City, Antelope Island is home to free-ranging bison, pronghorn (antelope), bighorn sheep, and many other desert animals. In addition to these larger animals, millions of birds line the shore offering unmatched bird watching opportunities. Here you also have amazing views of the Great Salt Lake and the opportunity to take a dip in the lake.

This town is known for its large man-made waterfall that spans the length of the city. These pristine and sparkling waters provide the perfect backdrop for personal or family photos!

Day 2: Rexburg -- Jackson Hole -- Grand Teton National Park
Stop At: Jackson Hole, Wyoming United States
Jackson Hole is a quaint Western town in Wyoming known for its artwork and cowboys. Due to its proximity to numerous ski resorts and Grand Teton National Park, this lively town is a great stopping point. One of the most recognizable aspects of Jackson is the town square, where the four corners of the park are marked with arches made entirely out of antlers.

Located in Northwestern Wyoming, be prepared for stunning mountain views and diverse wildlife. The Teton mountain range dominates the skyline rising to heights over 13,000 feet. Witness the range up close while exploring locations within the park such as Jenny Lake and Coulter Bay at Jackson Lake. During the summer, wildflowers paint the valley floor with rich vibrant colors. This area is a great place for photos to send home or post on your social media accounts.

Spanning nearly 3,500 miles over 3 states, Yellowstone national park is one of the world's largest national parks. The park is home to nearly half of the world's thermal features. Additionally, see the only herd of bison dating to prehistoric times as well as bears, wolves and other animal life.

The town of West Yellowstone, Montana, is located just outside the West Entrance to Yellowstone National Park, is a year-round, family-friendly destination. Nestled among majestic mountain peaks, and surrounded by natural scenic wonders, the town is rich in history and activities. After arriving, you’ll be able to eat dinner and explore the town’s many gift shops. After, we’ll drop you off back at your hotel, giving you time to rest and prepare before the next day’s journey.

Established in 1910, Glacier national park covers around 1 million acres of land. A hikers paradise, Glacier National Park is filled with breathtaking hikes and scenery. Come see the glaciers before they all melt away! If hiking isn’t your preference, enjoy the views while driving the 50 mile Going-to-the-sun road.
Over the next two days, experience the following sites:
Two Medicine: Enjoy a relaxing boat cruise and be ready to take pictures of the stunning landscapes.
Running Eagle Falls: This double fall is part of a short nature walk. Named after the Pikuni Tribe member Running Eagle. She was an incredible warrior and tribe leader who eventually was buried in this area.

Day 6: Glacier National Park
Stop At: Glacier National Park, Montana United States
Apikuni Falls or Red Rock Falls: Apikuni Falls is a 2 mile roundtrip (1 mile each way) with a little over 600 feet of elevation gain on the way up. Once at the falls, enjoy seeing the beautiful falls. Or you can choose to hike to Red Rock Falls. Red Rock Falls is about 4 miles roundtrip with only 200 feet of elevation change. Once you arrive at the falls, you are rewarded with a wonderful view and fun place to explore and take pictures.
Make sure to watch your step—the rocks around the falls are notoriously slippery!

Day 7: Continue Scenic Drive in Glacier National Park
Stop At: Glacier National Park, West Glacier, Montana United States
Going-To-The-Sun Road: This 50 mile length of road goes from the East entrance to the West. Along the way there are many pull-outs with breathtaking views. Near the halfway point, stop at the Logan Pass visitor center and see the continental divide.
Trail of the Cedars: This 1 mile boardwalk takes you through the forest floor and allows you to see the different mosses and ferns of the area. At the halfway point, you will see the avalanche gorge with avalanche creek running through it. It is a sight not to be missed.

Customers have the option of flying from Glacier airport at day 7 at noon. Or joining the tour guide back to SLC on day 8.

Stop At: Butte, Butte, Montana United States
Butte has an extensive mining history, visible even as you drive, so if you have additional time in Butte consider visiting the World Museum of Mining or Mineral Museum. Another activity we wished was had time for was the Trolley Tour of Uptown Butte, which seemed like a fun way to learn about the history of the city. We did have time for a little geocache, which led us to a pretty little garden and one of the signature “headframes” of Butte which are remnants of the city’s copper mining history. Overnight here.
