Our gyide, Ember, was absolutely charming and impressive with her wealth of knowledge and passion for the city, swamp, ecosystem……..we loved the tour size and appreciated the efficiency of the pick up and drop off.

The weather was pretty awful but everything else was great. Alex was waiting with his van at 7.30am and we got to the swamp and got going quickly. We didn’t see much wildlife - probably too cold - but it was an enjoyable kayak with some good stories from Alex.
We had been booked on the combo swamp/plantation tour the day before but it was cancelled due to stormy weather and there was no other combo tour during our stay. The company rebooked us and immediately refunded the difference in cost.

AJ was a great tour guide! He was very knowledgeable and personable. It was a fun, relaxing and informative tour. The scenery was beautiful and it was great to see all of the gators, turtles, snakes, owls, egrets and eagles.

This was a beautiful, relaxing kayak tour of a wildlife area (bayou, swamp) near NOLA. Sam was an excellent guide, who took good care of the group while sharing lots of knowledge about the flora and fauna. We saw several alligators in the water, but we were in sturdy kayaks and never felt afraid. I would definitely record this excursion out of the city!

Manchac Swamp Kayak tour was amazing! Very leisurely tour with a small group. Equipment was well maintained. Scenery was gorgeous with lots of wildlife. Our guide, AJ, was very passionate and knowledgeable about the environment and wildlife. He was an excellent kayak instructor, patient, kind, and a good driver! Could not be happier with my experience!

The whole process was very easy and well laid out by the company. Great communication. Easy pick up. Kaylee the guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. Managed to see alligators, a snake, an osprey, a bald eagle and their not so small baby, a red racoon, terrapin, and loads of different birds.
Some members of my party were nervous about getting on a kayak in a swamp with gators but they loved every minute of it and not once felt unsafe.

Our group had a great time kayaking down the swamp and seeing the local wildlife! Our guide Nick was great, he was patient and knowledgeable about the ecosystem. We were lucky enough to see plenty of gators, bald eagles and owls. The small group allowed us to go at a steady pace and have a personalized experience. This was definitely a trip highlight!Transportation from the city was easy and swift. We were picked up on time and made it back with plenty of time for our next stop. We will be recommending it to our friends!
