Overview

Zipping is a thrilling adventure with a bird’s eye view! Families, friends, and groups of all kinds love soaring through the green hills of Fontanel, through the trees in our majestic old growth forest on 9 separate zip lines covering about 1.5 miles of terrain. Zippers sail through the air on steel cables, secured in a safety harness and attached to a zip pulley system. Zip tours operate year-round. Experience zipping during every season!

Originally built in 1988 for country music superstar Barbara Mandrell, Fontanel was envisioned to be a place of peace and harmony set in the beautiful Whites Creek Valley of Nashville, Tennessee. In 2010 its doors were opened to the public. Since then, Fontanel has become one of Nashville’s premier music and lifestyle destinations.

When we got there, unfortunately Cool Destinations booked us a wrong time, so they ended up changing out date free of charge to the next day. It then rained the day we were supposed to go; they were super gracious in letting us get our refund for all of the mishaps! When we are in Nashville again, we are DEFINITELY going to book here for our trip getaway!! Excellent customer service throughout the entire mishap! 5 starts for sure!!! Thank you Adventureworks!

I organized a group trip with co-workers. The person I spoke with was friendly and helpful, and it was easy to change our group slightly. Our guides were entertaining and fun, and we had a great time. This is a perfect activity for groups: a perfect mix of fun and easy thrills, with time to chat in between flying through the trees. The only downside was it was harder than we expected to get Lyft rides back; schedule a pickup ahead of time if you need multiple cars.

We had so much fun with our group of guides Christian, Sam and Trent! They were friendly, courteous and super fun! Our group was three people who had ziplined before and one very nervous newbie. They were super patient and made all of us feel comfortable. The views and scenery were beautiful as everything is just starting to bloom. Could not have had a better time!
