Connecting with the natural surroundings following a river as you walk, rappel, slide and jump through hidden waterfalls with streams that cross endemic forests. A super fun and adventurous day.
On breathtaking tours through the crystal clear waters of Madeira's numerous rivers, you can explore the pristine and unspoilt interior of the island.
After a safety briefing and an overview of your canyoning excursion, you will make a short descent into the canyon with your friendly and experienced guide. Using a rope system and harness, you will rappel, trek, scramble, jump and slide your way through the refreshing waters of the canyon.
Challenge yourself and get out of your comfort zone under the supervision of our experienced and friendly guides.

Meeting and Pickup
What To Expect
✔️ After the pick-up, we will drive to the Canyoning location.
✔️ You will meet your guides as equipment is being dispersed and then taken on a 20-minute walk to the entrance of a stream where the first safety briefing will take place.
✔️ Along the way you will be able to abseil breath-taking waterfalls, jump and swim in beautiful natural pools, always surrounded by incredible landscapes.
✔️ With natural water slides, abseiling and jumps into natural rock pools the canyons are sure to make your heart skip a beat.
✔️ The beginning of the stream has some vertical challenges (up to 26 feet), small walking sections, and many play areas.
The river will be flowing by the entire time with several jumping areas 15-20 feet high. The challenge continues following a quick snack break with waterfalls up to 35 feet tall!
✔️ At the end of the trip, there will be transportation to bring you back to the park where you began your adventure.
