Overview
Join my Chef’s Table in Curaçao, an intimate dining experience in a relaxed and welcoming setting. Throughout the evening, a small group of guests gathers around the chef’s table to enjoy a seasonal multi-course menu inspired by Caribbean flavors, locally sourced ingredients, and personal stories.
This is not a traditional restaurant experience. You are welcomed into my kitchen, where I prepare a carefully curated chef’s menu right in front of you, sharing the inspiration behind each dish along the way.
Seating is limited, and reservations are required.

What To Expect
Thé Caribbean Fine-Dining Experience.
Experience an evening of Caribbean fine-dining with Chef Helmi Smeulders, renowned from her appearances on Top Chef and 24Kitchen. At the Chef's Table, you'll have a front-row seat to watch Chef Helmi at work as she prepares a menu that showcases the vibrant colors and bold flavors that define Caribbean cuisine.
Seated around a beautifully set kitchen island, sixteen guests enjoy a good glass of wine while Chef Helmi prepares a four-course dinner right before your eyes. With each course, she explains the ingredients and techniques she uses, often surprising even local guests with her innovative dishes. There’s a common misconception that Caribbean cuisine lacks refinement, leading many fine dining chefs to focus on international cuisines with imported ingredients. However, the island offers some of the freshest, finest ingredients, perfect for creating contemporary and elegant dishes.
