It was very cool paddling in the dark, seeing the glowing jellies. Audrey was very helpful. I would recommend this activity.

Brea was an excellent tour guide giving our small group plenty of opportunities to see the bioluminescent comb jellyfish. She is very knowledgeable so you will learn a lot about the area. We also saw some dolphins in the moonlight and could hear the manatees come up for air. It is a great trip!

We did the Sunset Kayaking and Bioluminescence Kayaking tours. Sunset provided a fabulous view of the sunset while the dolphins jumped and played in the water nearby. 2nd time we did the Bioluminescence (first time 2019) and the Combs Jellies were abundant! We were also still able to see the dinoflagellates (glowing plankton). Jake was wealth of information abut the area and educated us on several historical things, including taking us to a section of the lagoon where people lived secluded and showed us parts of the dock from 100 years ago that are still sticking out of the water. We were also treated to seeing the Milky Way and Shooting Stars. Highly recommend these tours!!

So happy we finally were able to take this tour! The drive to Haulover Canal was beautiful, sunset before launch stunning, and the tour thrilling, a little terrifying (for my wife as we crossed the deep water at night) and an absolutely amazing experience! Our guide, Shelly, was quirky, knowledgeable and just alot of fun as she led us across the canal, through the mangrove maze, the dead end, beach area and back to the launch site. It's a little early for the full blown bioluminescence, but magical to see the sparkle in the water as we paddled, the occasional green glow of the comb jellies, and thrilling to scoop and see the combs up close. We crossed the canal with what Shelly believed o be several dolphins fishing, and could hear the water blowing and see/feel their rippling waves as they passed. We did see several osprey, small alligators camped out, and believe we smacked a black drum with one of our paddles and felt it's vibration as it passed under our kayak! The sky was crystal clear and filled with bright stars, which was an added bonus!A special thank you to Shelly for rigging her pack to my seat back so I could enjoy he last 1/2 of the tour sitting up instead of laying back and gazing up at the stars!

This was such a cool experience! We went in late November, it was choppy and cold but definitely worth it (I would go when it's warmer/more calm if you don't have a lot of kayaking experience)We were trying to be realistic because what you see depends on conditions and time of year. Taking that into consideration we saw more than expected. We saw bioluminescent dinoflagellates and comb jellies. We were also able to see many planets/stars and the Milky Way was visible. Our guide, Jacob, was very knowledgeable and fun. He told silly jokes and shared lots of cool information about the stars, history of the area and about what we were seeing.Note: We launched at the Beacon 42 boat ramp. It's somewhat remote so make sure you gas up and have everything you need before going out there. (My gas light came on as we got there so that was a little scary as it was 15 -18 minutes from a gas station)10/10 would do it again!

My husband, myself and our 6 year old son had a great time! We had Brandon as our guide and he was AMAZING! Not only did he have great “Dad” jokes, but he has so much knowledge of the nature around us as well as everything along Merritt Island, from NASA to old history, Brandon knew it all. We found some amazing Cone Jelly’s and we saw birds and other wildlife. But I think the most amazing was just being out in the mangroves and flats at night. It was such a fun experience and we will be coming back again to see what more we can find!Thank you BK and Brandon for the amazing family memories!

We participated in a sunset/bioluminescence tour with BK Adventures in Titusville. Our guides were very well informed, calm and experienced on the water, and extremely educational about the flora and fauna of the area. Our first part was kayaking to Bird Island and back at sunset, where we were treated to not only a magnificent orange sky, but a double rainbow behind us! Next, after dark, we once again boarded our kayaks for an exploration of the canals and mangroves around the launch site, and even found some comb jellies to examine. Despite the less than optimal moon conditions and the late season, our guide, Ryan, did an excellent job of keeping us all together, entertained, and educated...we really had a great time, and plan to return on a darker summer night for more bioluminescent explorations!

The sunset sea kayak adventure combined with the nighttime bioluminescence tour was amazing! I couldn’t wait to post pictures of the gorgeous sunset (and a double rainbow behind us!!) that was breathtaking as we headed out to Bird Island and circled it… our skilled guide named Ryan was ever educating us on the ecology of the area the protective reserve, the feathered residents of Bird Island, & science of the bioluminescence we would see you later that night. We made our way back for a quick break then took off in the dark through the mangrove canals winding around the inlet, observing all kinds of avian nightlife seeking the elusive comb jellies & dinoflagellates… and of course avoiding the reflective eyes belonging to the gators (we saw no gators).I highly recommend this activity and want to do it again when the bio luminescence activity is more plentiful but this was totally fun & safe!

Our guides Bri and Kamary went beyond any expectations. It was likely a once in a lifetime chance for us to also witness a launch and we were blessed with a pod of dolphins showing themselves moments before. To just have the bioluminescence tour was stellar, pun intended. When looking through the clear kayak, it felt like I was paddling on a sea of shooting stars.I truly do not have the words to convey how much the trip means to my wife and I. Bri and Kamary, with my deepest sincerity, thank you. You both are the pinnacle of awesomeness.
