The best activity to experience Charleston! Wonder what it’s like to live here? Tour with someone who knows! 7th Generation Charlestonian Bruce gave us the most authentic walking tour covering the formation of Charleston, how the infamous Rainbow Row came to be, and the storied history of folks who lived in the iconic houses dotting picturesque streets of the downtown historic district. But it gets better. Bruce has his own stories to tell growing up roaming the very streets you’re touring and what it’s like to live like a local in one of the palatial estates along the battery.

This was a great walking tour that combined seeing the historical buildings of Charleston and some of the beautiful homes. Captain Jim was fantastic. He was extremely knowledgeable on the history of the area and managed to make it interesting and entertaining. We also went on the Alleys and Hidden Passages tour with a different guide. It wasn't bad, but did not live up to the quality and entertainment of the Most Beautiful Walk tour.

Captain Jim was the best tour guide we've ever had. A historian! We learned much about the city, the wars, and the beautiful homes. You will get a nice history lesson of Charleston while seeing historic buildings and homes. Highly recommend.
