Having booked the combo tour, we had two excellent guides (Austin and Billy). They gave us lots of information in a humorous way. All the customer service was great. If you want either a walking tour or carriage tour (or both), definitely use Old South Carriage company!

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable of the ares we toured. The tour was beautiful but i thought we were going to get a variety of areas to see besides just homes and churches.

My wife, I and two adult children had an absolutely fantastic 90 minute walking tour with Kate Abrams. We have taken other walking tours in the past and this was by far the best. Kate showed us hidden alley ways, beautiful gardens we had never seen before and shared interesting and historic facts about Charleston that only an insider would know. A former teacher, she flighted in sharing her deep knowledge of “The Holy City’s fascinating and rich history. The passion, energy and enthusiasm she brings is contagious.
A tour with Kate is a must when in Charleston.

Awesome way to learn the history of Charleston and orient yourself within the city. Perfect first full day activity. Kay our tour guide was one of the best I have ever had - informative, engaging, and ready to answer any and all questions. The time slot we selected was small (just us two and a family of 3), which made it a more personalized experience. Not sure if all afternoon sessions are like this, but might be something to consider (think we did the 130 tour).Even though it was hot Kay did a nice job of stopping in the shade to talk whenever we could. I would definitely recommend Old South Carriage Company to anyone visiting Charleston!

Our tour guide Kate was fantastic. She really knew her stuff, rattling off names and dates from memory. She took us to some beautiful back alleys along with landmarks and explained the historical architecture. It was great!!
