The only thing wrong with this tour was that it wasn't long enough! George was a most excellent guide. He is a historian and battle re-enactor and really knows about this time period. He explained the situation and events of the battle of Lexington. He took us through every movement of the day. It was so interesting and informative. We had a wonderful time!

George, wearing period costume, gave the tour which consisted of a walk around the Lexington Battle Green and the nearby cemetery. George really knew his stuff and delivered the information in a way that made you feel as if you were there. I could actually visualize the British soldiers charging through the smoke with fixed bayonets. Lexington was a key event in America's history and there is no better way to learn about it than on a guided tour like this one. Highly recommended.

This 1 1/2 hour tour recreating the Battle of Lexington was very well done. The guide, Dale, wearing period costume, did an excellent job of bringing the battle to life. He was engaging and interesting and we learned a lot from him. There is not a lot to see on the tour. There are a couple of monuments, the green itself and a small cemetery nearby. The interest is in the story.
The Visitor's Center itself is small, but well thought out with a room with a diorama of the battle and some history surrounding it. There's a small gift shop attached and of course bathrooms. The people that worked in there were lovely and very helpful.
There is an adjacent parking lot that was only 50 cents an hour.

I learned more in this 1 hour tour about the Lexington Battle than I ever did in school! lol! George Quintal is an amazing tour guide who is clearly passionate about history and about sharing his knowledge with others. I would highly recommend George and this tour!!

This was a great place to stop! We visited 4th of July weekend and it was very busy but the staff took their time with each person and no one was rushed. Nice gift shop and a history room to view as you waited for your tour.
