Our expert-guided course focuses on safe mountain movement, avalanche awareness, and essential ascent and descent techniques. This isn't just about learning skills—it's about enjoying nature, discovering remote winter landscapes, and skiing in uncrowded areas. With small group sizes, personalized attention, and the opportunity to explore stunning locations, our course offers a tailored experience for each participant.
All the necessary safety equipment is provided, and we even offer ski touring gear rentals if needed.

- Guiding from a mountain guide and its costs, a gift.
- Half board in cottages (price depends on cottage, from cca 35 € to 75 €).

We will meet us infront of our agency where you will find the name on the doors. Or: We will pick you up with the van of our agency with the name of our agency on it. Also the driver/ guide will have your name on the list.

What To Expect
Join us on the ski touring course on the vast slopes of the breathtaking snow whiteness. You will be able to discover the Julian Alps, the Karawanks and the Kamnik - Savinja Alps easily and with pleasure, and the European mountains will become more accessible to you.
During the ski touring course you will learn the basics of safe movement in the mountains on skis, consequently you will be able to enjoy skiing and go to the hidden corners of our mountains carefree.

- Ski touring equipment
- Avalanche safety equipment
- Technique and tactics of the ascent and descent
- Danger in the mountains in winter
- Cross section of snow cover and types of snow base
- Stability test of the snow cover
- Proper procedures in case of the accident-searching with avalanche beacons, probing and Mountain rescue service
- Situational rescue exercises from avalanches
- Tour adjusted to the group’s knowledge

- Mojstrana, Slovenia. Peaks and passes in the vicinity of the Julian Alps and Karawanks.
- Astental, Austria. Summits above the Astental valley in the High Tauern.
- Maltaberg, Austria. Peaks above the Maltaberg hamlet, in the valley of Maltatal.
