At Bite Me Sportfishing, our customers are anglers of all levels of experience to the novice up to the professionals. We also often take non-anglers who are looking to enjoy time on a boat with their families.
Because we take such variety of guests we wanted to make sure our guests are familiar with our style of fishing and what to expect on their fishing charter. Regardless if your charter is a shared charter or a private charter the most important thing to remember is to have fun!
Before departing our Captain and Crew will introduce themselves and give a briefing on the boat.
As soon as we leave the harbor, the crew will set out the lures. Guests are encouraged to ask questions and try to understand the technique involved.

The title says it all! We rented a private charter for the four of us and it’s the way to go, even though it can be pricey (but waaay cheaper than a helicopter trip-which was our other group option). We left around 6 am and stayed until 4 or so. We caught the marlin (about 450lbs) around lunchtime. After that we ran into a pod of dolphins that were every entertaining and also was hiding tuna. The guys really tried to nag the tuna but no such luck. Since our time was ending, the captain called another boat over to the spot to see if their luck was better than ours.

Right from the start of booking my full day charter, I thought these guys are great. Was lucky to go out with Captain Brad and his fantastic deck hand. Professional crew that knew where the fish could be located on the day based on recent information. That paid off quickly with the first blue marlin hooked up and brought to the boat within 45min on the water. Catch and released. This was followed by another Blue Marlin that put up a 45min fight. Captain Brad took photos at the end from the upper deck; fantastic. The deck hand worked magic getting lures back into the water as quickly as one man could do it; always appreciated.This is how big game fishing in blue water should be done.5 Stars.

We caught a tournament-sized wahoo 15 minutes out of the harbor, and nothing else the rest of the day. I understand fishing is not catching, and I do not hold that against the crew. They tried hard, changed baits, quartered the ocean when they marked fish.
I only gave 4 stars because of equipment issues. We lost an engine while we were out. No danger of getting stranded but it prolly diminished the ground covered. Also the capt was a big proponent of "green stick" fishing. However our green stick was broken. Doesn't make sense to me.

Our full day charter (6:30am-2:30pm) was quite comfortable aboard the Bite Me2; Captain Brad and first mate were knowledgeable about the waters, and what lures to use while trolling; we've fished Cabo San Lucas multiple times (a bit spoiled) - however fishing is called fishing for a reason; the day was slow, however caught a Mahi and Blue Marlin (preferred to have released it), all in all a good day on the water; quite a memorable experience for the family

A pesca foi realmente incrível, foram 2 Marlins em 6 horas, tripulação amável e prestativa. A falta de 5 estrelas se deve a dois motivos: não espere nada de comida ou bebida, como é comum em private charters. Nada, nem água. Mas o que realmente nos aborreceu foi o tratamento da recepcionista Susie: além de extremamente rude e grosseira, tanto na chegada como no final (pagamento), não nos permitiu mudar a forma de pagamento do passeio (nós havíamos passado o número do cartão de crédito para garantir, o qual foi imediatamente debitado). Quando questionamos que essa era a informação que recebemos pelo telefone (cartão de crédito seria apenas a garantia), ela respondeu que esse era um “problema de quem deu a informação”. Fomos embora tão revoltados que esquecemos de deixar a gorjeta para a tripulação — essa sim, gentil e educada.
