- When choosing a time to visit La Moreneta, keep in mind how long it takes to get to Barcelona and the climb up to the monastery. Plan ahead and take the train at least 1.5 hours before your reserved time to ensure a smooth visit.
- Not permitted Both men and women must wear modest clothing that covers their shoulders and knees. It is prohibited to enter the monastery wearing flip-flops. It is prohibited to take photographs with a flash, tripods, or selfie sticks inside the basilica. It is also prohibited to take photographs during services at the monastery. It is prohibited to enter the basilica during worship services unless you are participating in them.
