Stop At: Georgia O'Keeffe: Welcome Center, 21120 U.s. 84 Next to the Abiquiú Inn, Abiquiu, NM 87510

The O'keefe welcome center is dedicated to information about this amazing artist and her work.

Duration: 15 minutes

Stop At: Abiquiu, Abiquiu, New Mexico

A visit to the Bosshard Gallery (a restored 19th century old adobe compound~ art, antiques & furniture, from all over the world) adds a element of regional history to our tour.

Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Georgia O'Keeffe Home and Studio, 12 Palvadera Road, Abiquiu, NM

A tour guided by O'Keeffe foundation, $45 per person advanced reservations are required.

Pass By: Chama, Chama, New Mexico

We will be driving through the incredible Piedra Lumbre basin (or Valley of the Shining Stone) which stretches from Abiquiu to Chama along the Chama River and Abiquiú Lake with views of Cerro Pedernal, the stunning vistas that were the inspiration for O'keeffe's work.

Stop At: Ghost Ranch, 280 Private Drive 1708 US Highway 84, Abiquiu, NM 87510

Ghost Ranch, a dramatic 21,000-acre of New Mexican landscape, where the reclusive American artist Georgia O'Keeffe led a solitary life immersed in nature and art. O'Keeffe fell in love with the sculpted landscape of rivers, cliffs and buttes in an expanse of earthen formations which according to pueblo peoples are alive and imbued with spirits of the past.

Stop At: Plaza Blanca, Abiquiu, NM

White Place (Plaza Blanca) is a stunning canyon of evocative rock formations adjacent to Dar al Islam Mosque. This is O'keeffe's favorite place to paint.

Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Purple Adobe Lavender Farm, Private Road 1622, Abiquiu, NM

A farm, museum, and store devoted to lavender.

Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: Abiquiu, Abiquiu, New Mexico

The historic Inn at Abiquiu is located next to the O'keeffe Visitor Center and will be our stop for lunch.
