Driver was great. Good way to broadly see Seattle and decide where to go on your own. Only bad thing is it’s hard to see out of shuttle buses.
My wife and I were in Seattle only 1 day on a trip celebrating our 23rd anniversary. We wanted to learn and see as much as possible. Capt Steve made it a great day with stories about Seattle even the locals probably don't know. His Seattle soundtrack (harmonica included) made the day more rich. He even had our fellow passengers seranade us for our anniversary. The tour was closer to 5.5 hours long so plan accordingly. I can't recommend it enough.
We were picked up early at an airport hotel by our tour guide, Mark. By the time the tour officially started there were 11 taking the tour and Mark did a wonderful job of stopping at numerous photo opportunities and was very knowledgeable about all of the Seattle and surrounding area. We did stop at Public Market for 30+ minutes which gave us an excellent opportunity to wander the market and get something for lunch. Mark had given us plenty of food reviews of restaurants / shops in the area and my husband and I ate at Beecher's for a sandwich. At the end of the tour Mark checked with each of us to see where we wanted to be dropped off after the tour.
We had moved from Richmond, VA to Portland, OR about a year ago and we thoroughly enjoyed a great overview of Seattle. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in seeing and learning about so much of Seattle on a limited schedule ~ or as a starting point for checking further into areas of interest.
This was a great tour at a very reasonable price. Sheila was an excellent guide and driver. The Ballard Locks with the salmon ladders are a must see. My favorite stop was the Chocolate store. Sheila went above and beyond as a tour guide. Her enthusiasm was contageous!!!
Our guide Lucky was superb. I thought, we could leave right after the boing factory tour, there was too much free time to wonder around pre and post actual boing tour
Steve was an awesome tour guide. He was very infomative and made the tour exciting. Loved all the suggestions! We went back to visit a few of the highlighted places to spend a little more time there. Alot of history in Seattle. Fun getaway.
Great tour of Seattle highlights! Lots of good tips ind info on the city. Great way to get acquainted with all the things Seattle has to offer!
Phenomenal!!! Our guide loves showing his city and he includes scenic highlights, history and his own album of historic photographs, stops for picking up a bite at Pike St Market, tours a variety of interesting neighborhoods while describing the people and ambience of each as we drove through. The tour was longer than we expected and no one complained because we found it so fun and interesting that we didn’t want it to end.
It was okay but glad to see the Seattle. Nice to ride and views. Lacking to explained with me about the places.
Our tour guide/driver was Marty and he was excellent. He is very knowledgeable about the Seattle area and is easy to understand, welcomes questions, and has a great personality. We really enjoyed our tour which was actually about 4-1/2 hrs because Marty wanted us to see some extra stuff and we learned a lot about Seattle and the Pugent Sound area. We highly recommend this tour if you're in Seattle for a short stay and would like to see the sights and learn about the area!
